ChurchSquare's site building tool does not offer fully designed templates but rather a template building tool, you choose the header, layout style, colors, menu, etc. for a unique look and feel. For the pre-designed layouts we asked our graphic designer's to create a complete template with custom header, background and color schemes for a professional look.

Our designers also have created a home page look with graphics, quick link buttons and other design elements to help create a bigger impact for your opening page.

We have taken several of our Christian website Pre-Designed layouts and ported them over to Gallery sites that you can setup at no charge using our free trial. There are some differences in how the church name is loaded and the home page content and of course we do not load your logo, home page content and contact information on the gallery sites. We encourage you to start with a free trial gallery site.

Yes but it may defeat the purpose of the pre-design. For example if you changed the site layout, some pre-designed elements might be lost or not work as well.

Still if you wish to make changes to site page titles, font style, group boxes, etc. all those tools are still available.

We will do that for you if you can supply a workable version of your logo when you order your pre-designed layout. There will be a design fee to do this after the site is built. Generally changes to the banner need to be done by ChurchSquare design staff.

You can certainly upload new graphic links but there is no way to change just the text or a picture on one of these buttons. These buttons are loaded on the site as flat images. We have to use the source files to make changes and a design fee would apply.

For site design services we charge $60 per hour. We can give you and estimate of the costs for further site customization when you give us a full description of what you want.

Absolutely! If you have the design expertise and have the ability to make graphics with a program like Photoshop, you can create a design just as good as our pre-designed sites. Aside from creating the external graphics we only use the tools available through all ChurchSquare sites to create the Pre-designed Layouts,

With new sites we copy pre-designed site and then change the contact information, template graphics and home page content. With an existing site we start by manually creating a new home page adding all the graphics, content and links. Then we have you approve the new home page content. Once you approve the page we make the changes to the site template design and promote the new home page. This takes significantly longer than setting up a new pre-designed layout site.

Adding the new sub-site to a Multi-ministry plan adds an additional complication to the engineering task and we have to charge to compensate for that cost.

The idea of the pre-designed layouts is that you can see exactly what you get and that you get a professionally designed site at a very modest design costs. Since you can see what you get before you contract for the site we do not give refunds. Any extra work done on the site may incur additional setup charges. Normal fees will also apply to switching to a new pre-design layout.

The setup fee of $49.95 is a one-time fee but there is still a monthly hosting fee. Hosting fees start at $24.95 per month.

Our designs are created using our Content Management System that allows you to expand, change and update your site online. As such it has to be hosted on our servers.
